With this introductory course in science children will set off on an exciting journey of discovery and begin to explore the natural world around them. They will learn about rivers and oceans, mountains and deserts, plant and animal life of our planet. "Why does it rain?" "How does a volcano erupt?" "What makes the seasons change?" "Why does day turn into night?" -- the answers to these and other intriguing mysteries await the students of this class.
This course will help develop children’s observation skills and teach them to look at the natural world around them with an inquisitive eye. Children will gain a greater appreciation of nature and understand the importance of protecting the environment.
